DESCRIPTION:This event is a collaboration hosted by Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network\, Ottawa Black Mental Health Coalition\, and Somerset West Community Health Centre… \nJoin us on March 7th\, 2024 from 5:30pm to 9pm for this special event exclusively for Black Women celebrating Black Mental Health Week and International Women’s Day (IWD)\, themed #InspireInclusion. \nBased on the Netflix documentary In Our Mother’s Gardens. In Our Mothers’ Gardens celebrates the strength and resiliency of Black women and Black families through the complex\, and oftentimes humorous\, relationships between women across generations. We’ll be planting seeds by featuring short clips from the series to spark reflection and discussion.
