DESCRIPTION:Join us for a new 7-week bi-lingual and bi-weekly program series\, CWCLN in partnership with Amethyst Centre Ottawa! \nThis program will support the development of culturally-safe(r) and culturally-grounded spaces for Black women\, femmes and gender-diverse community members. DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network (CWCLN) is proud to open registration for its upcoming Peer Support Facilitation Training — a dynamic\, community-rooted learning experience designed to equip participants with the skills to lead\, support\, and strengthen peer-based spaces across diverse communities. \nBuilding on years of impactful programming — including peer support groups\, training initiatives\, virtual education\, and the development of the Peer Support Collective and Community of Practice — this training represents a continued commitment to expanding accessible\, community-led approaches to care\, connection\, and leadership. \nAt a time when communities are navigating increasing social\, economic\, and systemic pressures\, peer support offers a powerful\, people-centered response — grounded in shared understanding\, trust\, and collective growth. \nAbout the Training \nThis training equips participants with the tools and confidence to facilitate peer support spaces and provide both emotional and practical support to individuals navigating mental health\, systemic barriers\, racism\, discrimination\, and more.
