Dilaye Desta is a graduate from the University of Ottawa with an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Law. As a student, Dilaye engaged in community activism and anti-racism work at her university through various student-led organizations and is currently involved in community building and organizing amongst the Afro-Caribbean diaspora in Toronto and Ottawa.
As Programs Coordinator, Dilaye is in charge of the development and implementation of the programs and events hosted by the CWCLN. Outside of her programming duties, Dilaye’s other duties also include but is not limited to research, writing grant proposals, and report writing.
