Born and raised in Malaysia, Amanda Jeysing is a Tamil storyteller, food enthusiast, cycle breaker and writer now based on unceded Anishinaabe Algonquin territory (colonially known as Ottawa) who uses their creative passions to amplify decolonial narratives while building community. Amanda blends their backgrounds in creative writing, communications, and gender studies to inform the perceptual lens through which they challenge narratives in food media and wellness culture. Her passion for accessible wellness, creative expression, and community care brings her to peer support as a radical agent of change for collective healing.
