Ericka Ushliyanage is a mom to two active loving boys, an entrepreneur, and a coach dedicated to helping others grow through life’s most important transitions.
A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in Political Science, Minor Anthropology, Ericka later completed the Management Development Program for Women at the Sprott School of Business. Her early career was rooted in the nonprofit sector, including her work with the YMCA-YWCA supporting newcomers to Canada and community members seeking employment.
For the last 11 years Ericka has found deep fulfillment in helping her clients achieve homeownership and investment goals. She focuses on education, empowerment, and long-term planning—ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and confident throughout the mortgage process.
Community is at the heart of Ericka’s work. She has volunteered with the Sri Lanka Canada Association of Ottawa for many years currently serving as the President, served on the board of FemCity Ottawa, and currently sits on the board of the Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network.
Ericka is also a relationship coach where she is committed to supporting women navigating dating, divorce, and relationship challenges. This year, she launched her podcast, Relationships with Ericka Ush, to share real conversations, insights, and stories of growth.
She hopes her journey reminds others that despite adversity and the obstacles we face, we must continue to pursue our dreams—regardless of how others may respond. Becoming the best version of yourself is the greatest gift you can offer those around you.
