Join us on March 7th, 2024 from 5:30pm to 9pm for this special event exclusively for Black Women celebrating Black Mental Health Week and International Women’s Day (IWD), themed #InspireInclusion.
Based on the Netflix documentary In Our Mother’s Gardens. In Our Mothers’ Gardens celebrates the strength and resiliency of Black women and Black families through the complex, and oftentimes humorous, relationships between women across generations. We’ll be planting seeds by featuring short clips from the series to spark reflection and discussion. We’ll hear from Black women from across the globe share stories of their mothers to redefine holistic lives rooted in radical self-care and healing.
The event is taking place in-person at the Royal Ottawa Health Centre
