Reproductive Justice 101: What It Means for Our Communities

May 26 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Join the Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network (CWCLN) for an essential online conversation on Reproductive Justice, featuring guest speaker Roselin Dixon, Community Outreach and Communications Lead at the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre (ORCC).

As part of Sexual Violence Prevention Month this May, this webinar will explore the foundations of Reproductive Justice, what it truly means for Black and racialized women and femmes, why it is a critical pillar of health equity, and how it impacts our communities every day. Together, we will also reflect on and continue conversations we have been having within the community around reproductive health, wellness, safety, advocacy, and justice.

Trigger warning: This conversation will touch on sensitive and potentially heavy topics including gender-based violence, reproductive injustice, and systemic racism. We encourage participants to prioritize their well-being and practice self-care. We are here to hold a gentle and supportive space as we explore these important issues together.
