Register Now: CWCLN Launches Peer Support Facilitation Training

The Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network (CWCLN) is proud to open registration for its upcoming Peer Support Facilitation Training — a dynamic, community-rooted learning experience designed to equip participants with the skills to lead, support, and strengthen peer-based spaces across diverse communities.
Building on years of impactful programming — including peer support groups, training initiatives, virtual education, and the development of the Peer Support Collective and Community of Practice — this training represents a continued commitment to expanding accessible, community-led approaches to care, connection, and leadership.
At a time when communities are navigating increasing social, economic, and systemic pressures, peer support offers a powerful, people-centered response — grounded in shared understanding, trust, and collective growth.
About the Training
This training equips participants with the tools and confidence to facilitate peer support spaces and provide both emotional and practical support to individuals navigating mental health, systemic barriers, racism, discrimination, and more. The training will be led by two experienced facilitators with expertise in cultural competency, equity-informed practice, and lived experience, ensuring a grounded, responsive, and community-centered learning environment.
Participants will explore how to create inclusive, respectful environments where people feel heard, supported, and connected — while building their own facilitation skills in a structured and guided setting.
Delivered virtually via Zoom, this free training combines interactive learning, real-world application, and community-building to ensure participants leave prepared to lead with intention and accountability.
